catching rays started with a simple kailua beach scene: fishing poles planted in the sand, lines cast out to sea, people posted up waiting to see what happens.

that everyday ritual felt like the right starting point, but the design moves it further into the kailua hi world. the flowing lines, warped motion, and sun-heavy composition nod to the other meaning inside the name — hi as both a place and state of mind.
