front and center: a hawaiian monk seal reimagined as an old sea dog. grizzled, noble, slightly suspicious, and very much off duty. the design nods to oʻahu's long military history and the everyday reality of living somewhere the ocean, neighborhood life, and military culture have always overlapped.

design notes: front graphic features a hawaiian monk seal imagined as the olde sea dog. part monk seal, part retired naval legend, part salty uncle of the sea. pulls from old nautical illustration, military-island atmosphere, and the very real fact that monk seals somehow manage to look ancient, wise, sleepy, and mildly judgmental all at once. clean enough from a distance, weirder the closer you get. finished with the kailua hi woven sleeve label.

100% carded cotton 7.1 oz heavyweight fabric garment dyed for a faded, lived-in finish. lighter on the edges, deeper in the creases. softer and more broken-in than a standard heavyweight from the first wear.
