on a quiet kailua morning beach walk we spotted a hawaiian smooth seahorse (hippocampus kuda) at the water’s edge—tiny, delicate, unforgettable. this tee nods to her with a simple, kākau-inspired composition that draws from traditional hawaiian linework: ʻupena (net) threads the body—connection and community; niho manō (shark-tooth triangles) edges the form—protection and courage. offered as contemporary artwork for apparel, not traditional uhi (tattoo). may this tee bring a little togetherness, courage, and protection.
